The vines have all leafed out and are growing, I do believe, inches a day! They look healthy at this point. The cool frosty mornings we had recently haven’t done any damage. Our vineyard workers are now beginning to "glove" the vines(removing any new green growth below the cordon on the trunk of the vine). Our vines are truly pampered throughout the season and in return they give us high quality fruit. When visiting our winery, be sure to slow down and take a look at the vineyard on your left. Traminette is the varietal you will be looking at.
The Tasting Room also comes back to life this time of year. We start to see more and more folks coming out to enjoy the sunshine and wine. On Saturday mornings I will be baking fresh bread, I think you will enjoy the fresh warm bread as much as our family does. Get yours early, it sells out fast!
Check back next week to find out about our new purchase…a firetruck!
